NEW Cake and Buttercream Masterclass

I've always enjoyed all things cakes, but my obsession as a baker came when I committed to making my friend, Deepika's wedding cake. 

I had never made such an elaborate cake, let alone one for such an important event - what was I thinking!?! 

As nervous and uncertain as I was, I was ready to do all I could to gift a beautiful cake to the happy couple. I spent countless hours testing recipes and practicing my piping skills in my teeny kitchen in my tiny London flat. 

The wedding cake was a hit and I picked up my first customers at the wedding (even though I didn't have a business yet).

The experience ignited my passion for cake. I enrolled in one baking course and then another and then another. The ones I loved the most (and really helped me boost my skills) were the week-long intensive courses. 

Having the chance to come into an industrial kitchen for weeks at a time, using expert tools and getting to experiment new techniques all under the guidance of expert chefs opened the door to my new-found baking dreams.

That's why I'm so excited that we'll begin offering our 3 & 5 Day Masterclass series this fall and monthly into 2022! 

We're starting with our new 5-Day Cake Baking & Decorating Masterclass. This introductory course was designed for aspiring bakers ready to take their caking and decorating skills to the next level. 

This is a 5 day course, 5 hours each day with Chef Amanda. The class is all hands on, with step by step learning in an intimate setting. Only twelve students per session. 
  • DAY 1: Foundations of Vanilla Cake Baking & Buttercream 
  • DAY 2: Chocolate Cake Theory & Piping with Buttercream
  • DAY 3: Masking a Rainbow Cake
  • Day 4: Introduction to Gumpaste & Fondant - Make Timothy the Teddy Bear
  • Day 5: Masking & Stacking a Two Tiered Buttercream Cake
Our first week-long class kicks off in October. Will I see you there?
